Dr. Gyan has been a SPOTRIAS Clinical Research Associate, Division of Vascular Neurology, Washington University School of Medicine, St Louis, MO. SPOTRIAS aims to reduce disability and mortality in acute stroke patients through the development of improved treatment by laboratory investigation into the biology of stroke, clinical investigation of new therapies based on these laboratory studies, and assessment of outcome and improved application of effective therapies. His patients and students love him for his dedication to patient care and excellence in guidance to his peers. Dr. Gyan is actively involved in teaching medical students rotating on the Neurology service on the floor. His love for reasearch and acadstrongics in the field of medicine is second to none and is passionate about.
