Dr. Eric Gershman, is a N.Y.U. trained Board Certified Hematologist - Oncologist. He has given more than 15 years in treating benign and malignant hematology as well as malignant diseases. He brings a wealth of knowledge to his patient management decisions. His research interests include preventive oncology and he is an active participant in professional meetings and panel discussions. As a dedicated physician and humanitarian, Dr. Gershman works with Health Volunteer Overseas, providing education and clinical care to underserved countries, most recently in Honduras. Dr. Gershman believes optimal cancer care is achieved when the patient is empowered to work with their physician as a team. He views every patient as an individual with a unique set of problems and circumstances. Therefore, he tailors each treatment for that specific patient.
