Previously, Dr. D'Emilia served as co-director of the Breast Cancer Center at the Medical College of Virginia and Medical Director of the South Jersey chapter of the American Cancer Society. He is also active in clinical research and has published numerous scientific papers in peer reviewed journals. Dr. D'Emilia has been recognized as a "Top Physician" by South Jersey Magazine.
